Monday, May 26 is Memorial Day and after a long weekend of traveling, camping and cookouts it’s easy to forget that today is a federal holiday and not just a regular Monday morning. And with a federal holiday comes closed restaurants and businesses observing the holiday, so where can you get a bite to eat today?
Well Burger King of course! The fast-food chain will be open on Monday, although hours may be limited depending on your location, so we recommend checking with your local BK restaurant beforehand because some stores may close early.
Not only is BK open on Memorial Day, the burger chain is also giving away a week’s worth of freebies for customers in honor of National Hamburger Day, which falls on Wednesday, May 28. The promotion, which kicked off with a free cheeseburger on May 22, lasts all week and includes a variety of the chain’s signature menu items.
“Burger King is keeping the flames burning and the grill sizzling in celebration of National Hamburger Day to give Guests what they deserve – a week full of piping hot deals!,” the food chain said in a statement announcing the promotion.
